iMentor's Breakfast of Champions

iMentor’s Breakfast of Champions will take place on Wednesday, February 27th at 583 Park Ave. to celebrate the power of partnership and mentoring relationships. Doors will open at 8:30am, programming and breakfast will begin at 9:00am, and the event will end by 10:00am.

The future of NYC will be shaped by the next generation of leaders, and we all have a role to play in developing and investing in tomorrow’s diverse talent. iMentor is meeting this need by doing what they do best: building high-impact mentoring relationships. In the 25 years since iMentor’s founding, the organization has supported over 40,000 mentoring relationships to help young people navigate their college and career pathways and work to achieve their ambitions. They are now expanding their career-connected mentorship through new partnerships with CUNY focused on high-growthsectors such as financial services, healthcare, and technology. At the Breakfast of Champions, you’ll have a chance to learn more about this emerging work.

The event will highlight the importance of diversifying talent pipelines, closing the opportunity gap for first-generation students, and recognizing companies and institutions in the iMentor community that have championed this work. The event will be centered around a panel discussion facilitated by Natasha Holiday, Co-Head & Managing Director, Infrastructure East at RBC Capital Markets and iMentor NYC Advisory Board Member, and featuring distinguished CEOs who are leaders on this issue: Carmine Di Sibio of EY and Peter Akwaboah, Chief Operating Officer of Technology & Global Head of Innovation at Morgan Stanley, as well as CUNY Chancellor Félix V. Matos Rodríguez.
