MUFG Welcomes iMentor NYC for Financial Literacy Workshops

On Friday, February 2 MUFG welcomed 25 iMentor students from the International High School at Lafayette for an afternoon of financial literacy workshops. This event is the latest by iMentor NYC to provide firsthand career-connected learning opportunities designed to expose high schoolers to new and diverse industries.

Companies that partner with iMentor NYC can offer insights into their industries while building students’ professional knowledge and skills. Career-connected learning events are also a chance for employees to share their personal expertise with NYC’s future leaders.

“At MUFG, we deeply value investing in NextGen Leaders. By partnering with iMentor and engaging employees as mentors, we are creating meaningful opportunities that not only benefit the students of NYC but enrich our employee experience,” says Emily Wang, Vice President, Strategic Finance at MUFG. “It was very inspiring to work with students hands-on, engaging around financial literacy that we hope will lay a solid foundation as they transition into the next stage of their lives.”
