So, you want to be an effective mentor for a high school student? You've come to the right place! We can help you as you work with a student to prepare for high school graduation, college success, and career readiness.
Like most mentoring programs, iMentor adheres to best-practices and safety standards to ensure that our students and volunteers are supported. That's why we offer mentor orientation: to train volunteers on working with teenagers in a strengths-based and outcomes-focused way.
Mentor orientation is the first step in becoming a mentor, whether you have mentored before or are a first-time volunteer.
