Executive Director, iMentor Chicago

Halleemah joins iMentor as executive director of the Chicago office. She enters this role with a diverse background as a demonstrated executive in nonprofit management and through her experience developing community-based outreach programs and fundraising strategies for sports entities, faith-based organizations, government agencies, and universities. Following her graduate studies, Halleemah relocated from Durham, NC, to Chicago. For more than a decade, her experience in the Windy City has included managing charitable programs, fundraising, and events for the Chicago Bulls; implementing an annual plan of services for more than 9,000 young people; leading strategy and external relations around education opportunities for public housing residents for the Chicago Housing Authority; and serving as CEO/executive director of the NFL's Israel Idonije’s Foundation, which is focused on social and emotional learning.
