Bay Area Mentor Orientation

Mentor orientation is the first and required step in becoming a mentor, whether you have mentored before or are a first-time volunteer. It’s no obligation--we'll feed you and you’ll meet other volunteers as you learn all about what we do and the mentor responsibilities. We regularly offer sessions at a variety of locations and times that are convenient for working professionals from across the Bay Area.

Like most mentoring programs, iMentor adheres to best-practices and safety standards to ensure that our students and volunteers are supported. That's why we offer mentor orientation: to train volunteers on working with teenagers in a strengths-based and outcomes-focused way.
