20th Anniversary Champions Dinner

On October 22nd, nearly 800 iMentor supporters gathered at Cipriani 42nd Street in midtown Manhattan to support and celebrate the accomplishments of the 33,000 students that iMentor has served since its founding in 1999.

The evening raised $4.5 million in support of iMentor's work across the country. Thank you to our generous supporters, and click here to fulfill a pledge.

The Champions Dinner highlights the power of mentoring and the importance of providing every young person equitable access to post-secondary education. This year, the event also celebrated iMentor's 20th anniversary and honored two visionary leaders, John Griffin, founder of Blue Ridge Capital and iMentor, and Jeff Bezos, founder, chairman, and CEO of Amazon.

John Griffin, iMentor's board chair, was honored for his two decades of dedication to iMentor and the 66,000 lives he has impacted through his leadership.

Jeff Bezos was recognized for his pioneering entrepreneurship and presented with iMentor's 2019 Champion Award. As part of the celebration, Jeff sat down for an intimate fireside chat.

Students and their mentors were joined by benefit chairs Amy Griffin, Julian Robertson, and Lisa and Mark Bezos.
