We are pleased to announce Jason Friedman as the new Executive Director of iMentor Chicago! Jason comes to iMentor after a decade in senior leadership roles in Chicago and Washington, D.C. with nonprofits dedicated to closing the opportunity gap. Most recently, he was Chief Development and Growth Officer at One Hope United, a Chicago-based human services organization that serves 9,000 children and families in four states. Prior to moving back home to Chicago, Jason spent six years leading fundraising and marketing at The SEED Foundation, the nation's first and only network of public, college-preparatory boarding schools, with locations in Baltimore, Miami and Washington, D.C.
Jason started his career as a journalist, covering stories from South Africa, the presidential campaign trail and many places in between. His work as a local television reporter was recognized with the National Edward R. Murrow Award.
Jason joined the team in mid-June and has already hit the ground running. We’re excited to welcome him to the iMentor family and look forward to his leadership!
