iMentor Chicago’s Halleemah Nash Wins Social Venture Partners 2017 Fast Pitch!

Exciting news from Chicago! On Wednesday, April 26 iMentor Chicago Executive Director Halleemah Nash won the Audience Award at the Social Venture Partners 2017 Fast Pitch competition in Chicago.

SVP’s Fast Pitch is a high energy, rapid-fire competition where competitors have exactly three minutes to pitch their organization’s mission, vision, and impact to a panel of judges in front of a passionate and engaging crowd. Along with the Audience Award, Halleemah earned iMentor Chicago a pro bono prize from Mission + Strategy Consulting.

Under Halleemah’s leadership, iMentor Chicago’s reach has scaled 194% since launching in 2015. In just two years, we have grown from 207 student-mentor pairs to 608 student-mentor pairs. Our Chicago team is executing our whole-school program model at three partner schools this school year, and will be working with a fourth school during the 2017-18 school year.

We could not be more thrilled with Halleemah’s Fast Pitch win!
