After many months of searching for just the right South Side school partner, we are beyond excited to share that we'll be launching iMentor at Chicago Military Academy (CMA) in Bronzeville this fall! In this first year, we'll be serving all of the CMA juniors. CMA joins North-Grand High School, Crane Medical Preparatory High School and Phoenix Military Academy as our fourth partner school.
Bronzeville is incredibly rich in history and community and we hope you'll take a minute to learn more about the neighborhood home of our newest partner school. WTTW and the Bronzeville Area Residents' & Commerce Council offer good online resources. The addition of Chicago Military Academy means we'll be serving more than 1,100 students this fall, up from just 207 when we launched in Chicago in 2015. If you have friends or colleagues who are not yet mentoring with us, please encourage them to come in for mentor orientation so they can get involved!
