iMentor Chicago Awarded Invest for Kids Grant

iMentor Chicago is thrilled to announce its selection as one of seven Invest for Kids beneficiaries this year. Invest for Kids' philanthropy model provides a significant, impactful investment of $200,000+ to local organizations along with a unique opportunity to showcase non-profits work at its premier conference held in Chicago in the early fall. Invest for Kids will be supporting iMentor Chicago’s growth and scale this coming year.

The Invest for Kids one-time, six-figure investment will support iMentor Chicago’s program at a critical time in its history: iMentor Chicago is expanding to a fourth school and to the South Side of Chicago. Invest for Kids funds will support programmatic implementation, volunteer recruitment and engagement, and local planning to fortify its place in the Chicago education landscape.

iMentor Chicago is delighted to be a part of this year’s cohort of Invest for Kids local organizations and looks forward to showcasing its work of building mentoring relationships that empower students from low-income communities to graduate high school, succeed in college, and achieve their ambitions. This year, iMentor Chicago will be working with more than 1,100 1-on-1 mentoring pairs. We look forward to shining a light on our work at the 9th annual Invest for Kids conference on November 2 at the Harris Theater. The conference is a unique platform to engage attendees and share our mission with more Chicagoans.
